These guinea pigs belong to Austin and he has waited until summer camps and vacations were over to get them. Originally, he was going to get a hamster, but he decided that a guinea pig would be more fun because they are more of a pet that you can hold and play with. They are two girls and are so squeaky and playful! One of Nicole's friends gave us a big PVC tube system they had made for their guineas (which they are now too fat to get through!), so we've had a lot of fun with those also.
Setting up their new home in Austin's room:
We have a fence system that the kids take out in the yard to let them play - they need exercise each day. It didn't take Stormy long to find them....
and when daddy saw the girls in this, he said "and that's exactly where I'll keep those girls". Yeah. Don't think they'll go for that! We've really enjoyed Brownie & Cocoa and once again, the Ryan home fills up with a few more pets :).
